All starships possess a public address system, usually just called the PA. This is a simple speaker and microphone setup that allows your speech to be heard all over the ship.
You may use the PA for speech, social commands, and emotes, as in the examples below:
- PA Hello.
- PA laugh
- PA :chuckles dryly.
You may also type
PA ON to have an open mic on that room's PA. While the mic is open, all speech and social commands in that room will go shipwide. Type
PA OFF to turn the open mic off.
